Enclosed Lateral Improvement Project (ELIPS)
The Enclosed Lateral Improvement Project (ELIPS), which consists of replacing low head lateral systems and weir boxes with gravity pressure pipe and flow meters, began spring of 2009. The anticipated completion date is 2042.

Permits are required for encroachments and crossings within SVID right of way and easements. An information sheet is provided with standard easement widths for SVID facilities. Please contact the District Engineering department to begin the permitting process.
