Engineering Technician/Engineer

Sunnyside Valley Irrigation District has an opening for Engineering Tech. or Engineer in the Sunnyside office. The opening is for a full time position. Duties include but are not limited to maintaining Auto CAD & GIS (Arc View) maps, construction staking and surveying, pump station, pipeline, and concrete structure design, estimating costs for construction projects, and interacting with landowners and field employees. Desirable qualifications include: two year college degree in engineering technology or related field and extensive computer skills or 4 year engineering degree. Compensation range is $25.00 to $42.00 DOQ. Benefit package includes medical, dental, retirement, paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave.
