AQUATIC HERBICIDE TREATMENTS
Sunnyside Valley Irrigation District will be
continuing our aquatic weed treatment program.
Treatments made with Acrolein (Magnacide H), are labeled as
being toxic to fish. If
you use your irrigation water for fish rearing, you are advised to
discontinue using the irrigation water, beginning on the day of
treatment and for at least two days thereafter.
We will also be treating with Cascade and/or
Teton (Endothall). If you do not wish to use treated water for any
reason, you are advised to discontinue using the irrigation water,
beginning on the day of treatment and for at least two days
thereafter.
Treatments made with Copper are labeled as
being toxic to fish. If
you use your irrigation water for fish rearing, you are advised to
discontinue using the irrigation water, beginning on the day of
treatment and for at least two days thereafter.
